Branding project for the Chelsea Truck Company

 

During early 2022 Rouleur Creative with took on UK based project in the automotive industry - consulting for the Chelsea Truck Company. With the company going through several changes, including moving into a new showroom at Albert Bridge, our task was to work with MG Digital and the current team to “Londonify” the brand’s marketing, while also driving sales through social media channels.

  • Created and implemented a social media plan aligning staff roles between the London showroom and Bradford offices.

  • Created London based lifestyle content across Chelsea, Fulham, Knightsbridge and Belgravia through photography and film shoots.

  • Added a large focus to Reels to increase engagement across the Facebook and Instagram pages.

  • Improved post quality over adding quantity leading to an improved engagement rate.

  • Featured products on vehicles rather than studio product images , tagging product in Instagram / Facebook shops connected via Shopify to the company website.

  • The company saw a 30% increase in sales from social media during this period.

 
  • Approached Facebook and Instagram content separately to maximise both channels.

  • Utilised LinkedIn to engage a business audience and the CEO’s LinkedIn following.

  • Shifted Instagram posts from a square crop to a 4x5 crop to maximise image size on mobile devices. Encouraged photographers to keep this in mind - using wider angles during photo shoots to leave foreground / background space.

  • Utilised the carousel format on Instagram to better display product, often splitting horizontal images between two vertical images to showcase detail in products and increase user engagement.

  • Adjusted hashtags toward the audience of a luxury London brand while also engaging to car enthusiasts.

  • “Londonified” the brand with targeted locations around the Chelsea area - geotagging, tagging and mentioning relevant locations featured in the images.

  • Frequently appeared as a ‘top post’ in these locations, increasing brand awareness.

  • Targeted upcoming events in the area to increase the relevance of our platform.

  • Increased brand interaction with followers and third party companies.

  • Targeted brand collaborations with other companies around the Chelsea area.
